Hard Drives... 02/16/2003 3:24 am yrns Sigh. One of my drives - only about 2 years old - died recently. I only lost a few days worth of work, but it's still a pain in the ass. Work progresses, albeit slower than expected. Sam's got a new model in the works, though. We'll get a shot of that up. More soon. Back 12/31/2002 1:58 pm yrns I've finally gotten back into the saddle here. In the last 6 months I've moved cross-country (and twice once here) and started a new job which has taken up all my time. For a long time I didn't have internet access at home, nor even a computer set up. Over the Christmas break I've taken some time to work a bit on Strangelove. Two things: One, there is a "final" version of SLV2 which has a lot of stuff in it, but many things that I would have liked to do didn't get finished. It has many bugs fixed, highly improved bot support, and some prettier effects. I will likely just release it as is in a few days and stop working on it. Two, I have started working on a 2K3 version of Strangelove. The shots to the left are from the currently running version. Unfortunately the 2K3 version is from scratch, so it'll be some time to replicate the feature set from the original. It's not so bad, though, due to the new engine. The current version is probably only 100 lines of code and it's about where it was for SLV1! Happy New Year. Hosted by BeyondUnreal.
